John Robert Marlow is a published novelist, nonfiction book author and Academy-honored screenwriter with over 10 years' experience as an editor and and creative consultant on books and screenplays.

John's tech-thriller novel Nano was published by Forge/St. Martin's Press, and he literally wrote the book on film adaptations--after extensive interviews with novelists, screenwriters, directors, producers and others whose movies have collectively earned over $50 billion worldwide. Make Your Story a Movie: Adapting Your Book or Idea for Hollywood was published by St. Martin's Griffin in December 2012.

One of John's action scripts went into development with director/producer Jan de Bont (whose credits include Speed, Twister, Minority Report, and Lara Croft Tomb Raider). A romantic comedy was optioned by the producer of the Tom Cruise/Jamie Foxx action-thriller Collateral.

John joined The Editorial Department in 2007 to provide a wide range of editorial and development support for novels, screenplays, screen treatments, and some genres of narrative nonfiction.   He is is an experienced collaborator and ghostwriter for original and adapted works and specializes in book-to-screen and screen-to-book adaptation..

John's first love novels and screenplays in the action, thriller, science fiction, fantasy, young adult, drama, and comedy genres. Running a close second is compelling narrative nonfiction and "quirky" fiction.

Jacqueline Radley

Jacqueline Radley wrote and produced television documentaries for six years. Her programs were aired on the Sci-Fi Channel, Discovery, and elsewhere. She subsequently became sole story editor for film producer John Jacobs. Jacqueline is now a freelance writer and script consultant, specializing in scripts for film and television, and book-to-script adaptations.
